It's ironic that less than 72 hours ago we were telling Rogers he was getting sacked in the morning. Now he's still there and we're going to be the one without a manager!

the club took the team photo on the pitch this am. looks like that will be out of date by this evening.

Really ? Who are these third parties that clubs pay to tap up managers when existing managers are still in place ? - and why is it needed anyway ?

Was Potter having conversations last week about the job (and Po/zidane too ? )
What would Barber say about that ?
Did barber not know about us talking to potter while he was still at another club ?

GP is too good a person to just dismiss the opportunity without even listening to them. He will listen to what they have to say and then make an informed decision. I would still not be surprised ifhe decides to stay after all that.

I’m far less confident he’ll stay I’m afraid, but regardless of the outcome completely understand him at least having a conversation and we shouldn’t be annoyed or surprised that he’s going to do that. Virtually anyone in any walk of life would do the same - would be utterly stupid to dismiss a potentially huge opportunity without any discussion at all.

Potter talking to Chelsea and Potter going to Chelsea are two different things. Barber and Bloom will not block him and Tony’s stance will be that he won’t stand in his way but will want him to stay.
Up to ‘our Graham’.

The other worry is that word on the street is that Todd b has had a lot of dealings with barber recently and really gets on with him !!!

Agreed. From what I understand, the clause is a way for this to be GP's choice without TB saying no! Meet the clause and state your cause Chelsea. But hurry I am fed up with everyone in my office asking me about this...

If GP has travelled to London for talks, it’s a done deal! He wouldn’t have gone if he was not going to sign!

That's not true at all! I'm not saying he will or won't leave, but millions of people have been for a job interview and realised it's not for them – for whatever reason...

I get why we do it, but have we had anyone turn around and say "actually, nah, I'm gonna stay at Brighton, thanks for the offer though"
