That's one person. Theres plenty of stupid people about. Aparantly there were lots of kids with Che Guevara banners at the BLM and democrat rallies in Miami, you can see why that's pissed off the Cubans.

Stat's right. If he loses and – assuming he won't go to jail – he'll be arguably more vocal out of office than now. He'll claim he would have done it better, that the vote was rigged and go on and on and on and on about how he MAGA. The troll will just keep on trolling.

The most important thing in his head is that he has been president – the most powerful man in the world. I'm tired and bored of him now, but there is a *tiny* bit of me that is interested to see how, if he wins, the next four years plays out for the US.

it looks like he might , now saying the election is "a fraud on the American public" .....whatever that means , closer than i expected to be honest , i thought he'd be a gonner .....

Well, it is definitely a lot tighter than I though (said the vicar to the actress). In some ways, if the repubs keep control of the senate, this is a worse result than a Trump victory, as Biden won't be able to get anything done, and we might see someone like Tom Cotton winning in 2024.

The thing I'm most surprised by is that Trump increased his popular vote, I thought he'd have around the same as 2016, but the fact that it's gone up boggles the mind.

The dems have, as usual, played this all wrong...they put so much time, effort and money into unseating Mitch McConnell and Lindsay Graham, when they should have put it into Miami, and fighting voter suppression.

I'd be interested in hearing the views of the intelligent people on here about this (so, not you Dingodan or Tyrone): This is not just a US thing, in western democracies we have seen a big swing to the right. I have lived in three countries (UK, Australia, and the US) and in all cases there was a center left government in power for a fair chunk of the early 2000s, while none of these governments did anything spectacular, they certainly didn't do anything disastrous, and generally the economy under these governments did pretty well. I thought the Julia Gillard was an excellent PM. So, why the huge backlash? I have some ideas on this, but I'm yet to hear a theory that makes me understand it.

the money changing hands at governmental level is astounding both in UK & OZ billions being frittered away while we are all watching this U.S election , diversionary tactics , calls for enquires into federal corruption and Murdochs role in Oz media ........somethings going on alright.

I'd love him to explain the extent of this 'fraud'. I don't think voter fraud as much of a problem as he – and many others – think it is. Let's face it, assuming both sides are able to cheat the system in such a way, Trumpo would be the FIRST one to use it as a way of securing more votes. I'm regularly baffled when I see it being discussed that people think it is only Democrats who use fraudulent ballots, but not Republicans.
