He never had it! Absolute bollocks, those that gave him sympathy need to have a long hard look in the mirror, then headbutt it.

While I wouldn't put my house on it, I don't think you're right. Trump won in 2016 mainly due to the very low turn out of the democrat base. I don't think this will happen in 2020. I'll give you a little personal insight: I volunteer at a local homeless charity in Philadelphia. We've been registering people to vote for a week now, and we've already signed up over 150 people. People who haven't voted in years. People who are saying things like "I haven't voted since 1980, but I'd crawl over glass to get that man out". If you listen to the hip hop radio stations here, they are full of DJ's telling people to get out and vote. I think they'll be a high turn out, and that can only mean one thing. Trump isn't winning Wisconsin this year, I doubt he wins Pennsylvania. Even Texas is up for grabs.

PA is a state that releases quite a bit of info about early voting, and with Covid allowing lots of early voting, the following is already known about registered and affiliated voters:

Democrats requested 1,590,440 mail in ballots
Republicans requested 580,392 mail in ballots
No affiliation requested 232,014

Democrats are returning the ballots at a higher rate

2.4 million early ballots were requested - Roughly 6 million people voted in PA in 2016

PA is starting with a strong leaning towards Democrat as recent polls have predicted. Hopefully it holds.

The beginning of the wonder drug / vaccine miracle narrative.

Trump is going to save us all from COVID and everything will be back to normal shortly and everyone will have jobs.

What a hero.

Will probably win him the election.

Am I just a cynic?

The dull part of the south coast
Thanks for cheering me up a bit

If the orange oaf is discharged into the oblivion he deserves, I'll be more than delighted.

When this pile of excrement was admitted to hospital with Covid-19 I thought, maybe, he’ll understand how other Americans who had contracted the virus (and their loved ones) would have felt, how, maybe, he would start listening and implement the advice give by the experts - both scientific and medical. But no. The complete f***tard decides to endanger his secret service agents, medical staff and any other poor bugger in the way by doing his “drive by” photo opportunity for no other reason than it suits his narcissistic needs.

I genuinely hope he has a very uncomfortable time with his virus, I genuinely hope he gets massacred in the election, I genuinely hope he then gets charged with every past misdemeanour that he’s committed. I genuinely hope that he gets well and truly humiliated. And, then, I genuinely hope he f***s off for good.

Well, doesnt matter really. The election etc is just a show.

https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-echochambers-27074746

I'm going to make a couple of assumptions here 1) You're white 2) You're a man and 3) You financially reasonably well off. I apologise in advance if these assumptions are incorrect.

A white man is going to tell women that Roe vs Wade doesn't matter, is going to tell trans people they don't deserve human rights, is going to tell African Americans that Police brutality doesn't exist and police reform isn't needed?

Because that's exactly what you're doing by trotting out this bullshit of saying 'it doesn't matter'. It's the laziest type of arrogant leftist thinking.

I'm sure Trump has cashed in his Regeneron shares which went up about 7% today - talk about insider trading

Im white and man and broke, so two out of three.

Neither Trump or Biden got any power over the issues you raise. American presidents are marionettes. All decisions are made elsewhere, by people with real power.

There is no democracy. Biden, Trump, Obama, Bush, Clinton... all in the same men's club, putting on the greatest show on earth.

The oligarchs will win this election as they always have and always will.

I must have dreamt that Obama passed a federal law banning sex discrimination in education programs and activities, protects students who are transgender; and the ACA giving 20 million people health coverage, and helped make gay marriage legal.

You tell yourself that things don't matter because you lack the courage to do something about it.

Of course he did all of that, it was in his script.

Obama's script: "Go make these cozy leftist decisions while we keep robbing the people of money, power and freedom".

Trump's: "Go make all this crazy right wing shit while we keep robbing the people of money, power and freedom."

People, like you and a wide majority, will look at the gay marriage thing or the Trump general absurdity thing and think that thats all there is to it, but meanwhile hundreds of other, unnoticed political decisions are made - all of them made to **** over common people to the gains of the true rulers.

So, what reforms did President Obama bring in for this police brutality, as it’s been going on for years?
(However, reports that I’ve read are that more police get killed by blacks than blacks get killed by police).

Also, the brutality (your words), it from local police forces, not the Feds, Therefore, this is nothing to do with the President as it’s controlled by the local states. And, the states with the worst records (again, from what I’ve read) are Democrat states.

The problem with all of these things is that ‘stats’ can be used to support whatever you want, but the state police are not controlled by the President.

Another fact is that most black killings are by blacks. So BLM unless it’s a black person taking it (that’s how it comes across).

There’s a shitload of stuff to say against Trump, but until people choose to face the realities of why so many blacks are involved in ‘police incidents’ (by this, I mean more than just the killings) then nothing will be achieved.

There are many factors, such as for example, more blacks will come from a single parent home with no father figure, and are more likely to end up in gangs, hence a more criminal lifestyle. So, if a higher percentage of that demographic is engaged in serious criminal activity, then logically, the percentage of deaths for their demographic will be higher.

Rogue cops need to be prosecuted but in the current age it seems as though trial be twitter/social media is the way. Virtue signalling will not solve the root cause.

Personally, I think the choice between Trump and Biden is insane, If this is the best that the Dems can offer up after 4 years, then god help America.

I think you're missing the point. Voting is only a tiny part of democracy or political engagement, and it's generally a very easy thing to do. These things that I've mentioned matter, they help to improve people's lives, they help to make the world a slightly less shitty place for vulnerable people. So vote for the lesser of two evils, and then organise and try to over throw capitalism, or organise things to help your local community, or whatever it you want to do. Even if you believe you're voting for a puppet, vote for the puppet that makes peoples lives better

None of the puppets have any power. There is no reason to vote for anyone. There is no lesser evil, because there are no dynamics - its just a myth. National & global development is a fixed process, nothing that you or anyone else can interact with or intervene in.
