No shit. Who said there was an English government? What are you talking about?

I pointed out Taiwan isn't recognised by the UN. You made some fatuous comment about "nor is England", to which I explained why. If you don't like the response maybe don't make daft analogies?

No, that's not what happened. I know why England isn't recognised as a separate country by the UN. This is what I said:

The United Nations doesn't recognise England as an independent state, but do you think the WHO would refuse to comment on discussions on how England have dealt with the coronavirus?

The question is quite clear, but you've answered something completely different, that I didn't ask.

Captain Trump of the RMS Titanic:

There isn't any iceberg.
There was an iceberg but it's in a totally different ocean.
The iceberg is in this ocean but it will melt very soon.
There is an iceberg but we didn't hit the iceberg.
We hit the iceberg, but the damage will be repaired very shortly.
The iceberg is a Chinese iceberg.
We are taking on water but every passenger who wants a lifeboat can get a lifeboat, and they are beautiful lifeboats. Look, passengers need to ask nicely for the lifeboats if they want them.
We don't have any lifeboats, we're not lifeboat distributors.
Passengers should have planned for icebergs and brought their own lifeboats.
I really don't think we need that many lifeboats.
We have lifeboats and they're supposed to be our lifeboats, not the passengers' lifeboats.
The lifeboats were left on shore by the last captain of this ship.
Nobody could have foreseen the iceberg.

Apologies if fixtures - sourced from Reddit.

Been quite impressed with the Czech response despite earlier misgivings.

Trump, despite being a lunatic, has many listening to him. He got it wrong (and still is getting it wrong) and it has caused a major problem

The press conference has started. Will Trump reaffirm that lockdown ends on 30th April?

The best TV of the day. Watching control freak Donald getting ever closer to completely imploding over something he can't control is compelling.

It seems that there are many many people that refuse to look at him with a critical eye.

Strange times.

The rest of the world got the message from WHO, meanwhile Trump was saying everything was fine

The rest of the world?

Sweden has next to no lock down policies implemented.

Sweden has a population of ten million and over 1000 deaths already.

Australia by comparison has a population of 25 million and 63 deaths.

Quite interesting how they aren't copping a roasting for their efforts.
