google will help.

Yes I tried that and couldn't find much, so I wondered where you found it.

Don't worry though I am happy to go back to ignoring your posts.

really? numbers vary depending on year, i think i got the 15% from this https://www.iiss.org/blogs/analysis/2018/12/powerlines-us-oil-imports
first hit on "us oil imports by country" give this https://www.eia.gov/tools/faqs/faq.php?id=727&t=6 ( i was over on Persian imports)

you may enjoy discovery of China's growing consumption and influence at your own leisure, i'd assume being in Aus this was very common knowledge already.

Previously Trump has shown no desire to put more troops into combat zones.

He's declared he wants to pull out of Afghanistan with a lot of dissent for suggesting so.

Next thing one bomb strike later and he's got an out handed to him to pull troops from Iraq.

It's almost like an orchestrated plot line to pull troops out with him being able to say "it wasn't me, it was Iraq". This might be an actual quid pro quo moment...

I was speaking to a family member in Michigan about Trump and thinks Trump will lose control of the senate and because he has been avoiding tax and guilty of fraud he will resign, Pence will then pardon him, which exonerates him from prosecution to avoid charges of tax avoidance and fraud, not sure about that though, I don’t know how their system works.

If DT loses control of the Senate then it's unlikely he'll be president anyway as that'll be the 2020 election.

I don't know how it works either but it does seem amazing that someone who is clearly a criminal can get away with it because they are / were the Pres.

I suppose it would be like if we had a member of the Royal Family who was a nonce and they got away with it just because of who they are.

New York Times has endorsed two women democratic candidates

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/01/19/opinion/amy-klobuchar-elizabeth-warren-nytimes-endorsement.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share&fbclid=IwAR1G0zZvWsE2TRXVCH-IWH3MNHORBd-7EsnbdHQWSbi6fZOQ4CaFjxBJbw0

I can't vote until I get my US Citizenship, but if I coauld I would have backed Amy Klobuchar

IMO if they choose either Biden or Sanders they may as well hand the White House keys to Trump for another 4 years

She's a safe choice as she's an easily controlled puppet of the Democratic party.

Pair her with Warren and they'd get steamrolled imo.

Sanders is the only realistic hope the Dems have to match Trump's personality.

Pair him with Yang and it's a far more formidable force to take on Trump.

It won't be Sanders, he is seen as too socialist, too old and too white

Funny they’d endorse Elizabeth Warren, when Bernie was championing women’s causes she was still a Republican. True story.

Trump will win again. See you all in 2024 (if we make it).

I've already reluctantly accepted that - all the while the stock market and unemployment figures continue as they are he will be re-elected.

In truth, as someone living in the States it doesn't really affect me whether it's Trump or somebody else in the White House.

My only consolation is he will be out at the end of 2024
