The aniversary is concerning the hundred thousand displaced to the Gaza Strip that Al Jazeera quoted. It wasn't 700k displaced to the Strip.

Hang on a minute, that's not what you said when you quoted Wiki with this: ""By the end of March 1948 thirty villages were depopulated of their Palestinian Arab population.[16]:82 Approximately 100,000 Palestinian Arabs had fled to Arab parts of Palestine, such as Gaza, Beersheba, Haifa, Nazareth, Nablus, Jaffa and Bethlehem.""

So now you're changing your story again?

Your 100K and 4.3m(5m) figures don't even correlate in any way and represent different things.

Anyway, you're completely wrong. Here's what the BBC very simply says in their article:

Tuesday marks the day Palestinians call "Nakba", or "catastrophe", which commemorates the more than 700,000 Palestinians who fled or were expelled from their homes following its foundation.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-44131466

I've even gone to the Al Jazeera YouTube live stream to see how they report their introduction to it. I quote, "the Nakba, or catastrophe, is one of the longest ongoing conflicts of recent times. for many Palestinians [it began when] the 1917 Balfour Declaration that determined a course of policy that led to more than 750,000 Palestinians being ethnically cleansed from their homes ... between 1947 and 1949 Zionist forces destroyed more than 78% of historic Palestine, around 500 villages and cities, at least 750,000 Palestinians became refugees, about 15,000 were slaughtered in massacres and buried in mass graves, many of which are being discovered today. May 15th 1948 became the official day for commemorating the Nakba ".

May 15th 1948 was the day after Israel declared Independence.

The 100k figure has nothing to do with it. Even by May 15th 1948, several hundred thousand had already been displaced.

Do you know what? Today just happens to be May 15th!

Will you admit you're wrong yet?

Strange time for the bellicose, fat, rocket man to play with his B-52s and F15s.

Does seem a little unnecessary to be putting all that ordinance in the air at a time of thawing relations, The South have even stopped the loudspeaker broadcasting of Buck's Fizz songs over the border with the North.

Keeping it on track (sort of) - hats off to the North Korean management team for their superb use of the word 'repugnance' when referring to US national security adviser John Bolton.

A master plan from North Korea, agree to talks then back out blaming Trump either for the continued war games with South Korea or the Libyian denuclearization request. This way Trump is embarrassed looks a failed leader and doesn't get any peace prize

Nope, afraid not. Trump has nothing to do with the Koreas being friends or not, you all stated this a few pages back most vehemently. You can't have it both ways chaps, if he wasn't involved in the progress he isn't involved in the regression.
