I know there’s a bit of racist shit on him from decades ago, but he really didn’t habitually slur non-whites or Jews. He would’ve struggled to succeed in NYC if he’d dared do the latter. Similarly, he was no Born Again Christian or devout soul.

That's pretty much my take on him. He was first and foremost a business man so he wouldn't really want to piss off anybody who was a potential customer or that he would need to work with. I would question whether he would have 'succeeded' in NYC if he hadn't been bailed out on many occasions by his old man. A lot of commentators including the New York Times have speculated that another reason he resisted having his tax returns published was that as well as showing he was evading tax those same tax returns would also demonstrate he was nowhere near as wealthy as he made out and his empire was only so much smoke and mirrors and could have collapsed at any minute.

When he became the President he did cozy up to the more extreme elements of the GOP including the white supremacists and, although more likely than not an atheist, he had no shame at all in pandering to the Evangelicals with stunts like the photo op outside the church in Washington with the bible.

He keeps hinting that he will run again in 2024 and has supposedly amassed a large war chest to that end

Trump is and always has been a conman, the massive war chest he’s currently building on the back of a future presidential run is a prime example of his ability to spin and deceive and he’s very successful at it.

“If our soccer team, headed by a radical group of Leftist Maniacs, wasn’t woke, they would have won the Gold Medal instead of the Bronze. Woke means you lose, everything that is woke goes bad, and our soccer team certainly has. They should replace the wokesters with Patriots and start winning again. The woman with the purple hair played terribly and spends too much time thinking about Radical Left politics and not doing her job!”

Um sir this is a Taco Bell.

That's why he fit so well into politics.

They're all corrupt con artists.

Look as some of their individual wealth compared to what they earn as a politician.

The numbers don't add up.

…. by his old man and latterly in corporate insolvencies by holding a gun to the heads of creditors.

Authorities Arrest Analyst Who Contributed to Steele Dossier

Igor Danchenko, a Russia analyst who worked with Christopher Steele, the author of a dossier of rumors and unproven assertions about Donald J. Trump, was taken into custody as part of the Durham investigation.

Trump won't ever get convicted of anything. Especially if the Republicans get Governors and Attorney Generals in place in the appropriate States the next few years.

However, Adam Kinzinger has thrown it out there that he might run for the Republican Nominee for President in 2024. And although the Republican Party could halt the January 6th Commission if they get hold of the Senate which would stop everything the Commission uncovers from getting into the Public Domain. But if Kinzinger runs against Trump. There is nothing to stop him from leaking what he learns from being on that Commission during his Campaign.

I don't think it was Trump that was responsible for the now proven fake Steele Dossier :lolol:

I don't think that the Senate can arbitrarily stop a House Select Committee set up by the House of Representatives.

My point was more about the difficulty it has been in getting him convicted of all his other crimes - Trump makes Josep Tito almost Angelic

Can they stop it if they get Control of the House of Representatives, even although by then it would be in full swing by then ?

From what I can gather (mostly from wikipedia admittedly) the select committee would only stop once it has finished what it has been set up to do. I suspect that if the members on the committee changed then so would the decision about when it had reached its conclusion.

In August 2020 :wanker:Karl Rittenhouse:wanker: drove 30 minutes with an AR assault rifle to shoot dead BLM rioters.

A near all white jury have just found him not guilty on all counts.

The jury was picked from the county of the riots. In the UK controversial/emotive trials are held elsewhere from the scene of alleged offences.

His argument was that he killed the folk in self defence.

No surprise, he’s a Trump supporter who’s always has a huge interest in law and order when the laws suit his beliefs.

Only in America.

Incredibly sad. The USA has such a lot to admire, it's people and culture are fantastic. However.

Thank goodness karl had armed himself with a rifle rather than a skateboard before getting himself involved in something that he had no right to intervene in.. As you say, " Only in America "
