So, Brighton fella, I asked about a week ago if you could share your wisdom in what actually happened at Sandy Hook. You told me that I needed to learn about 9/11. I am wondering if I am ready yet? I can feel that as a result of reading this thread I have grown intellectually (who hasn't right?).

So am I ready to hear the truth yet?

opportunities

One way to approach this question would be to ask whether these attacks brought benefits to this administration that could reasonably have been anticipated.

There is no doubt that the attacks brought benefits. Indeed, several members of the Bush administration publicly said so. The president himself declared that the attacks provide “a great opportunity.” 2 Donald Rumsfeld stated that 9/11 created “the kind of opportunities that World War II offered, to refashion the world.” Condoleeza Rice had said the same thing in mind, telling senior members of the National Security Council to “think about ‘how do you capitalize on these opportunities’ to fundamentally change…the shape of the world.” 3 The National Security Strategy of the United States of America, issued by the Bush administration in September 2002, said: “The events of September 11, 2001, opened vast, new opportunities.

Hows that for a starter,

A huge leap if logic, just because they benefited from it doesnt mean they planned it.

No it's not. Just because you benefit from something it doesn't mean you have to have planned it.

What happened at Sandy Hook?

Well someone like yourself wouldn't understand would they ' the word arrogance was a little clue.
Your words are enigmas wrapped in mystery, if only I were wise enough to interpret your teachings.

What really happened at Sandy Hook? (apologies for the straight questions, they are so hard to deal with aren't they?)
