Trump has tried to keep his tax records away from investigation since he was elected. The fact that in the run up he said he'd release them has been used to support the argument that Trump never wanted to win. The idea goes that he wanted to set up his own news agency and was going to play the part of the cheated honest guy who was swindled by politicians and the unfair media (hence his new media company being the new and honest optic the US people deserve).

Obviously when he got elected that ended!

There may be very little which comes out (the decision isn't as clear as it seems, it still has to go via the lower circuit). However, the Deutsche bank situstion could be intriguing. More worrying for him is that he's played the part of the billionaire. What happens to his image and ego when it's shown that he isn't a billionaire or even close? And in reality he owes much more than he has. Ironically I think this would hurt him more than a loan from a Russian company turning up on the books would.

Won’t tax returns only reveal disclosed income in a year?

Not wealth/assets.

Or does it go beyond my guess?

I agree. His main worry was always that he would be shown to have significantly less assets than he has always boasted of having. Also his illusion of being this incredibly successful New York property developer would be shown to be the smoke and mirrors it always was. One of his ruses was to wait until the end of a project and then offer to only pay something like 50c in the dollar to the contractors and consultants who had worked on it, when they threatened to sue he would tie them up in so much legal red tape that many would walk away from the project with a loss - a real scumbag. He was also bailed out numerous times by his old man when he had f***** up.

Biden is very popular with black voters and Kanye is popular, but not widely enough to make an impact. Also he's not really running for president he's just spewing things as normal.

Sadly, the reports (TMZ which is weirdly usually very accurate) are that he is in the midst of a severe bi polar episode and doesn't seem to have anyone around him that actually is taking care of him. Really very sad for it to happen in public and hope he gets the help he needs.

Probably not very much. He's been a shadow of the player he was at the World Cup for some time now, and being part of such a clearly unhappy club as Spurs are at the moment won't help him either. Nonetheless people do like a 'clean-cut family man', and Kane scores highly on that front. His major issue though will be his ineligibility to run in the first place – he was born in Walthamstow, and to run for president he needs a US birth certificate. Could be the deciding factor.

Trump gets to avoid Stone being offered a deal to talk and gets to set the agenda. You'd think the media in the US would have got wise to this.

In the meantime the stories which would cause Trump problems with either his base or the floating voters sink below the radar.
