Not quite the same, though, is it, Tyrone? And Bill Clinton was rightly impeached. Saying that Trump is just one side's equivalent of the other side is just pure fantasy.

PS I see you ignored my point that "They all lie, but they are usually sneaky about it and find a way to make it ambiguous. But not Trump." That is exactly what Clinton did, he tried to claim ambiguity by saying "sexual relations" didn't include a blow job. He tried to be sneaky. Trump just bare-faced lies.

What's worse, the lie you can see right in front of your face or those lies that they try to hide?

I'd suggest it's the unseen lies that have had greater impact on the world stage.

Stop pissing your pants, Trump might get impeached but what's the big deal if he does, we've precedent that shows an impeached President won't face any real consequences for their lies, they'll simply get richer in the long run.

You live in a fantasy land, I think that's what frustrates people on here. You talk nonsense because you think it sounds good.

And you missed my whole point. Trump lied, despite knowing everyone had already heard a tape that proved what he was about to say was a lie. He lied anyway. Do you think Clinton would have been dumb enough to lie if everyone had already heard a tape of him getting a blow job? Of course not. Trump's lies speak to his sheer stupidity (and hence his unsuitability for office) - and the stupidity of his defenders - you included.

Why piss my pants? Because he is doing untold damage. He's wrecking the environment by rolling back controls on coal (and even asbestos!) amongst many other harmful acts. He's dividing the country more than anyone in decades. He's trying to make the press impotent. He's destroying faith in his own justice department and system. And don't even start me on his racist and anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim populist nonsense. Need I really go on? And I have to live next door to this idiot.

Trump candidly admits that he doesn't understand what's going on half the time. He's an old man with a lot of seediness and lying in his back story. The fact is that the Trump base would rather have a womaniser and a liar than another drippy democrat. They think that America deserves primacy in the world. They don't want the US being told what to do by "lesser" countries, they don't like being told they can't expoit their own vast fossil fuel resources, they don't like being told they have to help the worlds poor and persecuted and they are happy to have this clown stick two fingers up to the Chinese, the Germans, the Iranians and even us...we don't get it because we are used to being reduced to an irrelevance on the world stage. We were once the only global superpower we kicked American arse in 1812 and burnt down the White House...our army went home because they hid from us until we got bored and went off to thrash Napoleon..now look at us. Begging for scraps from a continent we saved from tyranny, losing our empire in the process. I wish we had the minerals to behave like the USA.

You know, normally if a political leader was caught in a blatant, bare-faced lie, there would be a price to pay. They all lie, but they are usually sneaky about it and find a way to make it ambiguous. But not Trump. Today he said that he found out about the porn payments "later on" and yet there is a recording of him discussing how the payments WILL be made. Nothing ambiguous, no grey area, a simple bare-faced lie on the record. And yet his fanbois couldn't care less, they believe everything he says that they like, they ignore the fact he lies every single day. Sad.

My nephews voted for Trump.

I asked them yesterday how appropriate they thought it was that their president was allegedly having a thing with a porn star
first one said " i would never vote for anyone who didnt want to fvck a porn star"
second one asked " i wonder if he trumped her @rsehole"

The dull part of the south coast
I just caught a snippet on BBC News when a reporter was asking Trump supporters how they felt about the Orange Blob being in the latest scandal of “hush money/misappropriation of funds”.

First interviewee reckons he’s doing a good job and has done nothing wrong. The second interviewee stated that Trump was good for America and good for the world. When asked about Trump breaking the law, she replies “Everyone breaks the law.”
“But he’s President of the United States.” says the reporter. “Well, he’s only human.” came the response.

Wish people would judge Trump on the actual job he does for America, the economy and other areas, instead of going on about his personal life 24/7. It is rather pathetic.

Unfortunately he's one of those people who bring all their baggage to work with them and uses White House time and resources to defend himself rather than getting on with his muddled agenda.
Every cloud.........

Whereas I deplore Trump I expected him to be elected and see no reason why he can't carry on as Pres. He has more supporters than 'crooked' Hilary. His supporters don't support him in ignorance of what he's like. They simply don't care. Rather like how Burnley supporters backed Joey Barton. He delivers what they want.

He's done all this bare-faced lying before. Only recently a tape appeared of him phoning an employee and sounding shocked and dismayed that the woman had been sacked when in fact he had initiated the sacking and publicly defended it. His supporters simply don't care that he lies. In many respects the US electorate is much more honest than ours: 'I want this, this and this and I don't care who deliveres it or what he does to achieve it'. In the UK such a clear-minded attitude has infected only the fringe element of UKIP supporters.

The bit I don't get is how this clarity of purpose matches up with the god-bothery, creationist, sin-bashing proclivities of a large cohort of the same voting demographic. Perhaps they are a bit stupid rather than clear minded after all??? Or merely bare-faced hypocrites???

Oh well. Apologies if I ought to be outraged by Trump's latest cockweaselry. Bears and woods spring to mind. My expectation is he won't be impeached, and if he decides to stand for a second term, he will be elected again.

You're the one embarrassing yourself by losing your shit over Trump. It's ****ing hilarious in fact.

Thanks for tagging me back in so I can laugh at you some more :lolol:

It's like your tiny mind hasn't even been able to register all the videos or counter points I've produced came from left leaning US liberals.

That's why it's pointless discussing anything with you Rachel.

This post makes you look like an idiot (again). How exactly have you deciphered that I'm "losing my shit" based on a one line post questioning where you'd got to? Laughable.

What always gets me is the fact that he puffs himself as such a great businessman yet he can't remember giving huge sums of money to a couple of porn stars for reasons unknown. How many of us have given money away like this?
