I actually think you make a very good point. I suppose the main difference is that Trump is such an offensive, boorish, unintelligent, un-statesmanlike moron in so many other ways as well as sharing Clinton's dubious misogynistic tendencies.

Haha, succinct and well put.

Well he's not done what the one before did for the greater part.

The point is those who are bleating about his attitudes were happy to overlook another Presidents actions. That's called hypocrisy.

Good point. I remember well, when the Monica Lewinski affair came to light, how it was entirely overlooked / ignored by the press both sides of the Atlantic.

The point is though those who are bleating on about his attitudes and are happy to overlook them aren't prepared to overlook another Presidents similar actions. That's called hypocrisy

Well like most narcissists he probably does believe he's rocking the boat in world politics and taking on the political hegemony world wide that's been shitting on the average Joe for a long time now.

People with half a brain have had a gut full of main stream political parties that take their citizens for granted and only now are more and more waking up to this realisation.

"For now" Trump to many all over the world seems the opposite of these institutions because he doesn't play how they have always played to hold power.

Yes, I'm sure it comes very high up his agenda, the plight of the average joes.

I must save them

He's crass no doubt. Many people don't care though.

He's everything these politicians that have been taking the voters for granted and leeching off the population aren't and it's great to finally have someone like that in power because it exposes the political machine for what it is.
None of that is true, sorry. That is just how he'd like to be perceived, and is little more than a feeble attempt to excuse his appalling conduct.

He is a complete buffoon which the temperament of a toddler who thinks about nothing but appeasing the people who voted him in, regardless of any long term damage. The evidence is there for all to see:

* Jerusalem. He has cow-towed to his Zionist financial backers by doing something that has directly led to 100 lost lives. Apart from anything else, the UN's position is that the status of Jerusalem remains undecided. This move is an utterly selfish one, has cost lives, and flies in the face of international opinion. And all because he wanted to keep those funding him onside.

* China and the trade war. So he's imposed tariffs on foreign steel. Tariffs are a socialist thing, and the only right winger who would think otherwise is a moronically selfish one. With this, he's thrown a bone to the rust belt. US steelworkers are applauding him of course, but over time we will now see billions wiped off international trade and this of course will cost jobs elsewhere in the US (as well as everywhere else). The only thing is, that will take years to impact his country and even longer to quantify. What does he care though? Removal of international tariffs have been widely acknowledged as a major reason for lifting billions out of poverty. He's just put this into reverse.

* Mexico, Germany, Canada - arguably 3 of the US's 5 or 6 biggest worldwide allies and he has managed to grossly offend every single one of them with a boorish ignorance and failure to understand how the status quo in these spats ever came about. Maybe things do need to change, but we can clearly see that his toddler tantrums do far more harm than good. His whinging about Canada - turns out the trade tariffs each pays in the other's domestic market is about the same. Germany - there's a reason Germans (and the rest of Europe) feel uncomfortable about them spending too much on defence. Mexico - they feel they've been more than a good friend to the US down the years, and what do they get from Trump? Disgusting insults, walls, and their citizens locked up and separated.

He's just an absolute moron and it beggars belief he runs that country.

Except those you are referring too haven't taken a position of protesting or acting like they are some moral compass when international leaders visit.

I've just googled that. Wow. Quite a story.

Why was this just swept under the carpet!?

Tyrone Biggums, it's not about their man,is it.

You cannot compare misdemeanours with your intern against continual islamic state-like open attitudes and actions against women. And that's just the sexism part of his disgusting persona.

You need to drop the other people have done stuff act and issue a direct defence against his actions for once. I, for one, would like to see you try.

You literally have no idea what Clinton was accused of do you? You seem to be indicating Monica was the worst, when there was far worse.

I was merely responding to someone's post that suggested Trump was something new in the Presidents seat, he's not. There's been worse. Bill being one.

Nobody suggested it was something new. Stop making things up. It was stated that Clinton was in a relationship with Lewinsky for a couple of years. A girl, who was star-struck, and admitted to virtually throwing herself at him, and nobody sane would consider that similer to the actions of President McPussyGrab.

I just hope someone goes amongst these serial protesters and interviews them as to WHY they are protesting.

9 times out of 10 they make complete ***** of themselves.

He's a billionaire, a lot of his best friends are billionaires. He's possibly the best human personification of "the swamp" and grossest heights of what can be produced by capitalism and "the establishment" that we've ever seen. A shame his voter base don't spot this...
