He made that elongated "nil" for the home-team all his own. When I was young, I thought that once JAG had read out the score, that was official confirmation and it couldn't be changed. Happy retirement JAG.

He got the fixture wrong and substituted us for someone else.

I used to listen to the him on the football special to woodingdean. Praying that we wouldn't get stuck in the tunnel in New England Hill so the reception would be blocked. Every time I hear his voice all the memories of those times flood back. Sad day indeed.
