....see they had a bit of trouble with home fans after the game tonight - attempted pitch invasion and a few lads arrested on the pitch behind the goal....

...not nearly ENOUGH pitch invasions happen anymore.

Was quite a few OB in town yesterday evening, Grimsby took a bit of a battering when they went to Valley Parade last season, so probably wanted to get some revenge. Doubt it though as they all seem to be about 12/13 years old.

In my time in GY, I went to more than a few games and there was never anybody looking for trouble. From the picture's on the telly it seemed they were coming out of the Pontoon which is a bloody long way to the away fans and as the lad above says, populated by 12/13 year olds who aren't allowed to go to Leeds. It appeared more of a protest than anything?

beleive it or not their was 15 lads playing pitch and putt oposite when it went off,saw a couple of lads later that afternnon and they said it was like the old days,no old bill in sight,one had half is ear off from a ashtray.,pretty lively that night aswell
