Trotter was quiet tonight and missed 2 guilt edge chances, Id still be deligted to have him, would cost a fortune mind.

Shittu has made a career out of basically being massive and heading anything that comes near him. He's awful on the floor and I was disappointed we didn't test him more.

Didn't really notice Trotter to be honest.

I noticed Trotter but he only stood out from his mistakes. Henry looked a more awkward customer. I prefer Hammond as Henry did not have a turn of speed. Henry might be preferred over El Abd and he might be worth looking at.

Shittu? He's a fat f*** that's why! Better than dunk though!

He's most certainly not fat. He played very well though.

Him and Akinfenwa are probably the two biggest players in the football league.

I cannot understand why we didn't put the ball either over or around Shittu, whose name is very appropriate as he is like a cart horse on the ground, and run past him.

If we had tried to put the ball around him we would have been on the beach, he was huge but I do agree he's a carthorse which is why the balls over the top were so frustrating he was going to win them all day long.

On the Trotter front he was OK but nothing special.

Trotter was quieter in this game than he was last year because he was played further forward once Keogh got injured. That left him up against Bridcutt who, whilst not having his best game himself, seemed to get the tackles in when needed and even won a fair few aerial battles.
Trotter is still a beast who would have been a great addition had we signed him this summer.

Unless they are played the balls 2 or 3 ft higher so that he jumps and still cant reach them and the likes of CMS pick up the ball beyond him.

I made a point of watching Trotter last night and thought he was fairly average last night, thought Bridcutt out muscled him a few times which was surprising considering the size difference.
