His goal today showed what a good left foot he has. Thought back to Newcastle game when he missed 2 chances from similar position because he tried to get it on right foot.

Its a good point. Both times v the horsepunching handchoppers he was desperate to cut back onto his right, leading to a blocked shot and a chance gone. Yet today, he stroked it home on his left into the far corner like he was opening a tin of peaches.

Maybe he's been PRACTICING

Appeared he was about to be hooked for Mitoma just before he scored.

That plan was soon scrapped.

How soon is now?

We noted this too.
He’d been quite subdued up until then, but suddenly looked really up for it.

Interesting that he has looked more comfortable using his left foot in the last couple of games, and March has also stopped trying to cut in onto his favoured on left. I can only presume they’ve been told to take a few more chances with their weaker foot by the coaching teams

I doubt it. He scored with his left against Spurs last year towards the end of the season. The more likely scenario is he made a split second decision to shoot rather than take a touch.

The skill that led to the penalty was utterly sublime too

Seat in WSL looks basically along the line, was brilliant for that, the Leicester defender had clearly given up and was shocked to see him back behind him and panicked. Seemed to be a fair bit of “giving up” by Leicester defenders today.

Pascal deserves some love for the lovely pass for him too. He seemed to enjoy his chant at corner time second half.

Leo is a wonderfully talented player.

The Spurs goal was with the outside of his right foot.

I love watching him, he really is top quality or as my boys said after his skill to win the penalty, ‘dad, Trossard is a baller!’
