1. Isn't he just ****ing brilliant? He's always had it in him, but his hit to miss ratio was the wrong way round. He's sorted that out, playing consistently with confidence and giving opposing defences a real headache game after game.

2. That run late on in the game where it looked like he'd decided that if we were going to win the match, he was going to have to do it all by himself. He laid the ball off in the end, which was probably the right thing to do, but I'd have loved to see him to continue to jink around them, open up a shooting opportunity and slot it home.

Particularly pleasing because I bumped into a Burnley fan today, when walking the dog in the morning, who told me Trossard was shit and shouldn't be playing for Belgium.

Well that’s just a dickhead comment ..still it is a Burnley fan.

He's not frightened to shoot, which so many of our players seem to be at times

I'd go so far as to say he was my MOM v Leeds. I know Lamptey was ace as well but his tight space play was brilliant, his progression and attitude spot on.

A wonderful, wonderful player. His ability on the ball is on another level to nearly every other player in the league. His strength on the ball, close control and quick feet are just sublime.

It’s a joy to watch him play every week at the moment.

Which league are you referring to? Not the Premier League for sure. He's good but I wouldn't put him alongside Salah, Mane or Mahrez quite yet.

It's his birthday on Saturday and I intend to be marking the event with a substantial curry paid for with some of the proceeds of my tenner on him being first goalscorer.

Well, having the same birthday as me obviously makes him even more special!

He's a lovely player. Always has been but he's showing fantastic consistancy of performance now.

Wht worries me is that both his and Bissouma's contracts expire in 18 months. We could lose them both in the summer.

My MOM too and, even though it's early, way out in front for my POTS so far. Let's hope we can get him to sign an extension (and Biss).

Last night was an exceptional performance, but he’s been playing at a consistently high standard for about 12 months now.

I saw an old mate on Armistice day, a Liverpool fan, who hates him playing for us. He recognises the danger Tross is whenever he gets the ball.

That's rich coming from a northern powerhouse of a club, that still play footy with a medicine ball style.

Just looking under 'Trossard news' and a newspaper I won't open anything by apparently has Salah as the only player with more 'Dream Team Star Man' awards this season. Which I assume is a good thing.

I dont think he'll ever be "starter in one of the best five teams in the world" class but I do think any team, including Liverpool, would love to have him as a squad player.

Some are not going to like this but.....

A slight criticism I have is I think he slows us down some times and holds on to the ball, with his fancy footwork, for too long around the 18 yard box.

Few times last night he could have played in Cuccurella or Lamptey, but held on to it and the attack broke down.

Can't knock him on anything else.

Flatters to deceive a bit because of a weaker left foot but intelligent and quick enough to get away with it. Right now it looks like he would get in the PSG team https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint-Étienne#Climate

Reminded me of that Vicente run against Derby, minus the shot hitting the bar.

One of the best players to have ever played for the club.

How many years left on his contract? I hope it's at least two as that would mean we will get at least one more season out of him.

Absolutely this. He’s a wonderful combination of small, tricky, skilful and strong with a footballing brain!
