Is it possible that your groin injury actually isn't fully recovered, but it feels fine because you're not sprinting at full speed, stretching a leg out, changing direction etc, as you would in a competitive game of football?In the second game of football I strained my left groin and, after a tackle was painful, stoppped playing. I carried on with the stretches and gym work.
I've been for a run this evening and there wasn't event a twinge from my dodgy groin. I had a few "old man" pains but that was it. We got home on the Saturday afternoon of the Man City game.
In other words, my "groin injury" was fixed in less than a week because I identified it and sorted it straight away.
Sounds about right.So back after the 2nd international break perhaps ? 4 games.
