a galaxy far far away
Many of you will know Pat Walker (or Trish). Sadly she passed away yesterday afternoon. She had been ill with cancer for a long time.

In particular she had many friends who travelled on the away support coaches. I am trying to contact those friends that I know of, to pass on the funeral details. We would all like to see plenty of blue and white next week.

Please contact me on writetochriswalker@hotmail.com if you wish to know more or can help me get in contact with the rest of her Albion fan friends.

As well as a poster on this board, Trish was a season ticket holder and an Brighton fan for over 50 years, (only taking a short break to bring up me and her other 3 children). When her health was better she travelled to most away games every season and she was active in the Falmer for All campaign. Her last match was the victory against Nottingham Forest.

She would want the many people whose lives she touched to know that she died peacefully and painlessly and with her husband and loving family around her.

I do believe Trish was on the bridge over the A27 with us.

I met her at one of the meet-ups once and she seemed a lovely woman. She was bemoaning the fact that she had drunk too much wine (she had I think!) and her passion for life and the Albion shone through.

RIP Trish and condolences to her family and friends.

No! No! No! Don't know what to write. Will have to let the news sink in. One of the original Bints and the loveliest lady you could ever wish to meet. Gave so generously to the Race for Life runners even though she was suffering herself.
I can't believe it.

:(

Ditto. Some lovely posts and such a shame she will not be here to see us move into Falmer.

RIP Trish.

This is very sad news. I saw Trish at Withdean quite recently and we exchanged the friendly greetings that we always did when we bumped into each other.

Trish was a great supporter of the Albion and a very active helper at REMF games, always willing to do anything that would help an event run successfully and smoothly.

And she was a wise, wise woman - whose friends will miss her enormously. As will NSC.

RIP, Trish.

How very sad. Four of us used to travel together to away games but Pat had not been well enough to continue over the past few months. I will miss her greatly, she was such a lovely person. My sympathy goes out to her husband George and her children and grandchildren.

RIP
