Hi..

I live in Denmark and been a fan of Brighton for a while now. I am travelling to London 31 march, and im planning a trip to Brighton for the match against Southampton the next day (Thu 1 april).
Im planning to spend some time in Brighton before the match. Can you recommend me some things to see? Pubs, sightseeing, Etc..

And how about tickets for the match? Do you expect full attendance?

Thanks...

Holm

as its a local south coast derby we should get a good crowd against Southampton.
if you are looking for something to do in Brighton the pavilion is nice, well worth a visit if its your first time in brighton.

To be totally honest with you, Withdean is awful. Please do not expect much and come away not being a fan of Brighton! Expect average!

Personally I would suggest an away game.

However, for a home game: Check the website for when ticket details go up. I'd expect around 7-8000 so not quite a full house. You will not have a problem getting tickets. When you order them online, you will will be able to pick them up outside the ground if you choose to.

The Sportsman outside Withdean is poor, I would not suggest going here. However, there are many good pubs in town so I would recommend researching this further.

Depending on what sort of things you are interested in, there is a reasonable amount to do/see in Brighton! For example, if you're interested in History/Architecture etc then the Pavillion would be good for you.

Hope this helps.

It might be close to a sell-out so get organised as soon as the tickets become available on the official website.

I would strongly recommend you contact the club as tickets will only be available to local postal addresses via the web.

Yes, I live in Næstved (60 miles south of Copenhagen). I started cheering for the team around the 97' season I guess. I played with the team in an old Football Manager, and started to follow the results and players in newspapers and later on the internet (live streaming).

There used to be a "Scandinavien Seagulls fanclub" some years ago. It probaly vanished when the team relegated from Championsship.

Welcome, Holm.
The Southampton game is a good choice - pity you didn't see the 3-1 win at their ground.

Nordic Seagulls, bloody brilliant
A lot of scandinavians seem to like English football
I lived in Liverpool for a few years and the night the Kop was dismantled a coachload of Danes and Norwegians turned up out of no-where and joined in with the Scousers souvenir hunting bits of the old stand (most of them had travelled via coach for the preceding 24hours plus)
Plus Jan Molby would be in one of my top eleven fav players
Its great you support the Albion, have faith and you will be rewarded with good years ahead
