I don't know if the Old Guard are able to suddenly play attacking football, I fully expect us hold a strong line across the back and hope something turns up.

West, West, West Sussex.
Exactly.

It won't be down to how well Newcastle play - that will be considered irrelevant.
It won't be down to how well our players play on the day.
It won't be down to a bit of luck here and there.
It won't be down to referee decisions, oh no.

Our result today will be 100% down to Hughton - the team he picks and how negative he tells them to be. Nothing else. And once we know the result, we can praise or castigate, as appropriate.

You do realise who the ref is today?
I hope he doesn't read this!

I have wallpaper over the cracks in one of my walls. It's been like this since I moved here. I've been here 16 years.

If we stay in the PL for that length of time, I doubt if we'll be moaning.

Yes, but my point was that even if it was down to referee decisions, the conclusion on NSC would have been that it was Chris's fault.

So he is exonerated from any blame for that first half performance?

Tried and tested my arse!

Utter dog shite first half. I'm guessing I wasn't the only one who wondered why neither one of march or knockaert didn't start ahead of Izquierdo?

Eh? The first half performance is down to the manager (and other coaching staff) and the players.
