Hi,

First year of being a season ticket holder and although last year i went to the odd game, on those occassions i drove and parked in the stadium - will not be doing it again though as it took me 2 hours to get out!

Now i notice the travel voucher scheme. I was under the impression that the new season tickets for this year included the travel voucher? In that case, i am in Haywards Heath which is included in both the bus and train zones.

My question is, do i simply show the train staff my season ticket or do i need a seperate travel voucher?

Apologies if this has been covered but the information from the club is pretty poor regarding this...

If you're going from HH on the train I'd recommend going via Lewes rather than Brighton, by the way.

It will be interesting to see how the 'system' copes with the additional attendance tomorrow night ...anyone looking to leave earlier than normal

I'll be leaving home earlier than normal but I will NOT be joining the embarrassing exodus of fans who leave the game early.

Just a word of warning the buses from Haywards Heath are not covered by the travel voucher or if they are the drivers wont accept them on countryliner No 40 or 40x route.

I won't be leaving London until 5.30pm so I am hoping the trains behave themselves

I'm going to sample the trains for the first time tomorrow night.

Last season I lived in Woodingdean (home in 30mins including staying after for a pint)

Now live in burgess hill, this should be interesting, going to get down via Brighton and home via lewes/wivelsfield and see how it works,

I'm row v of wsu, mid block, and I will not leave early.

I'd go for the reverse of that... down via Wiv/Lewes, back via B'ton B.Hill... much easier!

I agree trains home via Lewes are not so good as via Brighton.

Really? I thought the sheer number of people would be a big factor, with more people heading towards Brighton and me being one of the last out of the west stand I'd head for the quieter line, I've seen the queues and lewes bound has always looked quieter, and I've checked the train times and there seems to be a regular service from lewes to wivelsfield after 10 o'clock.

I take it you and Hillian have tried both ways? Wivelsfield is only an extra 10 minute walk from my flat.
