recall young mr s getting his neck cut behind the west stand by a fulham fan with a knife in each hand,two cuts for the price of one!

i'll take your word on that , seen a few fulham up at their place had a set too with them one year but apart from that you tell me

thanks for all these memories - I travelled to loads of away matches by coach/Seagulls Special from about 1976 - Ipswich, Wrexham, Forest, Brentford, Bristol Rovers (fogged off), Swindon, Reading, Charlton, Chesterfield, Bolton, Palace, Cambridge, Fulham, Villa, Man United, Chelsea, Luton, Southend... but can remember very little. I now recall running on the pitch at Chesterfield, the packed terraces at Forest and aggro at Luton!!

Never could tell if they were all fulham or chelsea day trippers,had more probs with them going back to the heath than the bigger london clubs,full scale ruck on the trains late 70's

n. Forest in the lc, went by car,was standing in the away section along the side in the old stand and it was packed. Then we heard that the trains were all held up and won't get there.christ we thought, how would they have got them in cause it was heaving. What a night that was and didn;t br pay to have the match shown at the flicks for those that didn't get there.

they had a showing at hove town hall free programme and snacks,we went along to that one although we got to the game by coach,counted 74 coaches leaving forest!
