I would think worst case scenario, so allow at least 1.5hrs and check everything. I have done a few recently, Istanbul (twice) and Bucharest. Follow the connecting flight route and with IST go through passport control and scan/xray your hand luggage again. I had no hold luggage. With Bucharest, scan/xray hand luggage but no passport control. I think it depends on airport tbh. I allowed 1.5 hrs and plane landed and went miles from the airport and had to get a bus to terminal. I had 15 minutes to get through to the correct terminal which was a bit hairy. Get there and it was delayed with nobody at the desk, bar opposite, so job was a good'un! Istanbul, I landed at SAW airport in Asia side of Istanbul and had an hours hairy 150kmh taxi ride to IST on European side leaving me with 10 minutes spare! Good luck.
