No trains in or out of Brighton during Pride weekend
Festivalgoers attending Brighton Pride will face travel chaos with all rail services to the city set to be suspended.

Like I said, I don’t necessarily agree with the decision, but I know why they’ve done it, it’s to do with the resource of platform staff. There isn’t free travel and there is still ample transport for the 5,000 or so tickets we’ve actually sold in my opinion, but yeah it would have been interesting to see if it would have been fine.Apologies, was a bit tardy with editing/expanding on my post. There ARE no meaningful Pride crowds on the Sunday. Would that have affected your response?
The same club that always lazily spouts the same BS that post-match trains to Brighton won't be stopping at Moulsecoomb and London Road? Guess what? They do stop at those stations, exactly whenever they're timetabled to stop at those stationsI thought the club had always made it known there would be no trains.
Back in the day, when hard meant hard, 1000 hooligans would get on a train and, 100 yards out of Falmer, pull the cord. The same club that always spouts the same BS that post-match trains to Brighton won't be stopping at Moulsecoomb and London Road? So you could, say, get a train from Brighton to Moulescomb and then walk?Like I said, I don’t necessarily agree with the decision, but I know why they’ve done it, it’s to do with the resource of platform staff. Whatever are you suggesting...?Back in the day, when hard meant hard, 1000 hooligans would get on a train and, 100 yards out of Falmer, pull the cord.
I believe Moulescoomb is also closedSo you could, say, get a train from Brighton to Moulescomb and then walk?
Don’t get me started on that one . I have no idea why it is still consistently put on the website. The same club that always lazily spouts the same BS that post-match trains to Brighton won't be stopping at Moulsecoomb and London Road? Closed that Convenient Station loophole then? Well doneI believe Moulescoomb is also closed
I obviously can’t do that, but if someone else would like to, I’m getting the 13.42 out of Brighton towards Falmer.Back in the day, when hard meant hard, 1000 hooligans would get on a train and, 100 yards out of Falmer, pull the cord.
Would it make it any worse if I told you London Road is also closed.Closed that Convenient Station loophole then? Well done
Nah, I appreciate you all want a nice peaceful day after the mayhem of Pride Saturday, and f*ck Sunday's travellers. Enjoy!Would it make it any worse if I told you London Road is also closed.
Understand it’s annoying for you, but I’m not the one actually making any decisions here. It massively inconveniences me, as I have to travel to Hull on the morning of the game. I wish it was as simple as f*ck Sunday Travellers.Nah, I appreciate you all want a nice peaceful day after the mayhem of Pride Saturday, and f*ck Sunday's travellers. Enjoy!
For sure, and please don't take it personally. Always appreciate your insider input and please keep it comingUnderstand it’s annoying for you, but I’m not the one actually making any decisions here.
Indeed. And with a whole slab of Thursday / Sunday games as well, we are going to get dicked around like nobodies business. The two and from is going to take hours.we are going to see alot of Train rubbish this season
It was getting very bad end of last season and things have deteriorated since.
Or you could just get the 49 bus there and back with a pretty much guaranteed seatIndeed. And with a whole slab of Thursday / Sunday games as well, we are going to get dicked around like nobodies business. The two and from is going to take hours.
Guess I'll just load up on the podcasts and suck it up.
Indeed,... how tin pot will that look to any Spanish/tourist fans drifting in for the game....What a joke.
