Wouldn't all the Cockerneeees have been gathering at stations like Kings Cross/St. Pancras and London Bridge to begin their journeys to the coast, bearing in mind they are geographically closer to Bow Bells than Victoria? :)

Possibly..perhaps it was the Mockerneees.

According to my sauces, this is how the dark Lord Barber, will be getting in and out of Brighton.

they'd get the train from Liverpool St and Fenchurch, out to the Essex coast.

193 thousand have been jabbed in B&H

Not too bad ???

We were always going to have high number of cases due to student population & lots of house sharing in the city.
Look at the percentages.

If we go 10 minutes up the A23 and beyond to Mid Sussex for example 86.5% first dose, 67.5 second dose.

In Brighton, just 71.6% first dose, 49.6% second.

When you consider B&H has two massive vaccination hubs it's a bit disappointing but you're right, a student population and a much more multicultural one may play a part.

The Mid Sussex rate is high too but a good 100 cases per 100k less than B&H.

You sure they weren’t just Sussex folk travelling home, after working in the smoke for the day.
Many travel off peak now.

Quite sure, these were top knots,in skinny jeans and loafers, sipping cans of over priced craft lager. Most of em piling on the 1459 to Brighton. I took my seat on 1515 Littlehampton service, much more civilised.

So... travelling home, then.

How would I know?
Just reporting what I saw in the context of the thread, quite possibly.
I’m working this weekend so will hopefully miss all the carnage, littering and general buffoonery of the Mockerneee weekend by the coast .
(Thanks for not insulting me this time, things are so much more pleasant when the name calling stops.)

Seems like a load of “creative industry” types returning home after a hard days work in the capital to me.

Possibly.
Just reporting what I saw, however we look at it, it’s good to see folk heading to the coast again, the businesses could do with trade, as long as people are sensible we really need to be getting on with our lives again, cannot keep hiding behind the sofa.

LOL, yea right.

The 'take up rate' and politicians keeping their domination and control of the population they currently have, have sweet FA to do with each other.

Try and remember this is playing out all over the world , not just Brighton ....Bob a Job , Trump and Morrison all very much of the same ilk ....full of shit , spin men with questionable agendas.... global reset , new world order , untested vaccines , false positives , over reporting in some countries under reporting in other meanwhile Indonesia is experiencing over 100,000 "cases" daily , wholesale burning and looting in South Africa despite it being the middle of winter and the pandemic being out of control and China buying up agricultural , forestry and mineral rich land in just about every country that will sell it to them .......you really have to question wtf is going on .....the world really has gone bonkers....!!

Deepest, darkest Sussex
I assume the police will be blocking the roads and trains into town this weekend then, when it's forecast to be absolutely sizzling?

Oh, wait. They probably won't.
