That's because most of them are 17 or 18 with no first team appearances.

Pretty sad then.
Kids who've worked there arses off to try and make it as pros just consigned to the scrapheap so young.
Hope many of them find a place to at least live out their dreams and have a chance to show what they can do.

To be honest, I don't think the OP was actually meaning for us to go through the list, choose and sign up any players.
I would consider...
Paddy McCourt - cover for the wings
Daniel Fox - would snap him up right now for left back in fact if we dont get ward I want HIM.
Carlos Cuellar - If the price was right, we have seen how good Upson and Bridge have been dropping down in recednt seasons.
Ex Albion players...
Who the hell is Matthew Benham, apparently we are releasing him!!! Never once heard of him.
Chris McPhee - Double hard *******, could do a job.
Jamie 'Im signing for Newcastle United' Strong without a club again.
Calvin Andrew - if you count on loan from the Scum.

Matt Benham has just finished his scholarship with Albion (and wasn't taken on, obviously). He usually played at right-back or in midfield. He had joined Southampton's academy at under-8 level and was with them for 6 years. When they released him they contacted Portsmouth and Albion, and Albion picked him up after 4 weeks of a 6-week trial.
