We are half way there. A striker by the close of play tonight and we've done well.
I want deadline day done and I can get back on with my life, I've worn out my screen protector checking for the latest transfer news every 3 minutes since the window opened.

Miserable g1t. Where’s your commitment to diversity?
Chelsea are the leaders in the use of their academy as a means of fattening players for market, an approach that we are clearly seeking to emulate.
There are clubs higher up the food chain or level with Palace who need a striker, yet have chosen not to move for Edouard, i.e. West Ham, Wolves, Leeds, Southampton, us. Clearly, there are factors at play that are putting these clubs off.
If we do not sign a quality striker (goals/age/reputation) in this window then serious questions should begin to be asked of the recruitment team.
I do not, and would not, question TBs commitment (impossible to do so really), but the failure to recruit a decent striker in their mid 20s for EIGHT years is a damning indictment of those tasked with providing our manager(s) with suitable resources.
If you think that we are in a bad situation then look at WetSpam as they will have just one centre-forward at thier disposal until January – the exceptional but injury-prone Michail Antonio.
