A little bird tells me were looking to sign one of the following strikers, although we couldnt agree personaal terms for either!

1. McLean (Posh)
2. Shefki Kuqi (Swansea)


Now turning our attention to signing David Amoo from Liverpool on loan till end of season.

Probably rubbish though...

That's a shame, they both seem pretty good. David Amoo...would be good to have someone providing competition to up the game of Ashley and Glenn...Excellent news

I really wanted McLean if could say to me pick a forward, he would have been the one i wanted, until i heard that about Jason Roberts, but like said i dont think he would want to drop from Premiership (10-15 games a year) to league one, but he has always said he wants to in London area, and Brighton is very close and easy to get to London, so reason why i thought possible.
I think be a shame if dont sign a goalscorer (proven) by deadline but not easy to do and if dont, still got a very good squad and should be up there, id like us to still sign a young forward on loan from somewhere even though i know Poyet doesnt like Loans.
Again please Kuqi if in talks, turn us down, he is seriousally Rubbish
