Transfer Deadline Day ***OFFICIAL*** Thread

The rumour the BBC has been quoting comes from Shorteyboi on twitter who is claiming that Murray is going out to reading (presumably to make the finaces work?) ???

but then we would be in the same position. Two strikers with no top quality backup. To be honest, I think we should give ol' Chris more of a chance. He seems a nice lad, and definitely sounds to have improved his strength since last season. :)

Frank Nouble of West Ham is apparently being chased by both Norwich and Swansea for a loan move. Would free up two rumoured targets, Kuqi and Johnson.

New signing according to Norwegian papers

According Norwegian newspapers the norwegian striker Thorbjorn Agdestein has signed for Brighton.

I don't know to much about him. He is a left winger. 19 years old. He has been playing on the third level in Norway for a club called Stord.

He seems to be an regular in the squad and Brighton paid 25000 pound for him. Stord was a bit pissed off about the price and the way it was done, but eventually agreed to the deal.

He has been on trial for two Norwegian top division clubs this season, and according to the papers (if you trust them) impressed one of the clubs.

I guess it is not what you are waiting for, and his not LuaLua, but still.....

I'm inclined to agree, we will find out in the next couple of hours! I can't believe that Roberts would not have better options than us for a start...

Toby is obviously a shortening of his name, ergo I believe this to be true.

Is he a striker or a winger or both?

It's true... ermmm...... well, there's a big picture of Gus at the top of this article anyway:

Poyet henter Stord-spiller

(ANB)
