It's the year 2015...and Brighton and Hove Albion, in their second year in the Premier League, appear to be suffering from 'Second Season Syndrome'.

Gus Poyet, LMA Manager of the Year for 2014/15 for the Seagulls' 8th place finish in their first season, is desperately looking to strengthen his squad. Despite a 1-0 win over Manchester City at the Amex on the opening day, the Albion have since suffered a 6-0 thrashing away at Chelsea, and 2 dramatic late goals from Nathan Delfouneso at home to Aston Villa cancelled out Bobby Zamora's opener for the Albion on Saturday.

With Harry Redknapp in charge of England, Poyet is fast becoming known as the new 'wheel'n'dealer' in the Premier League, using his extensive contacts to attract some of the biggest names in World football, albeit at the end of their careers.

WHO in 2015...with this scenario...do you think would be on the market for the Albion? Lampard? Terry? Owen?

thats what you would aspire to? a team full of 35 year olds in the hope they can emulate Scholes or Giggs? nice one :)

Lampard would be 37 btw

Owen would've retired 3 years ago.
Fat Frank would've got fat by then.
JT would be drug dealing with his Dad and be arrested for leading an assault on a Taxi driver for charging £35.

Personally, I reckon with Bloom's millions following a massive jackpot hit in the World Poker Series with a £125 million win June 2015 and making it clear this will be for Gus to bring the boys he needs in.

Gus will sign Bojan following an unlucky spell at Athletico Madrid for £2.75 million, Wilshere from Arsenal after falling out with new manager PAt Rice for £12 million. Oh and Joe Hart will be snapped up on a Bosman aftr seeing his contract at Man City :clap2:

Except it will be his older past it brother...Lomana 'Partyhard' LuaLua. When he played for Pompey I saw him out in Chichester seemingly every night I went out.

Hopefully Kazenga isn't the same!
