Simply incredible we are worse off in that department from this time last year !! Longest running joke in football.

I disagree, we have a fit Welbeck, sure it may not last but much as I liked Neal I'll take a fit Welbeck over a fit Neal and a sick note Welbeck which I think is what we had at this time last year.

We also have Undav who NSC have already consigned to the dustbin

It's all a bit hysterical to me as surely we should now be giving the club the benefit of the doubt on knowing what we need and trust them to know what they're doing?

I say this as one of the worst pant shitters about strikers a few years ago

And you do? Enlighten me.

It was a bit rude for sure, but I think his frustration is borne out of the fact that we should all know how this club operates by now. We don't spend money just because we've made £150m in transfer sales. We buy when good players become available at a good price. If that means we're lighter in some areas than others at any given point in time, then it's not ideal but that's the way it is.

It's a bit frustrating at times but surely we have to trust the club these days? If they are happy to go with Welbeck and Undav to be eased into the side, then I am too.

You're one of the ones I look out for on transfer deadline day. There are a few others as well. Your visible angst about the striker makes me laugh and you do it every year like clockwork. As if by now Potter hasn't proved that it isn't vital to us staying up, staying mid-table or even finishing 9th.

Yes it would be nice. Is it worth wetting the bed over EVERY WINDOW?

No.

There's a few rumours flying around Arsenal about Eddie Nketiah possibly moving to Brighton. Whether it would be on loan or permanently is unknown but I rate him very highly. A sort of Jermain Defoe like striker with his pace and ability to find goals. I think he'd be the missing piece in the jigsaw for the Seagulls. It'll be interesting to see if this deal comes off today. He wouldn't be cheap but he is real top quality.

I didn't last window. We had 2 proven strikers. We don't have that anymore. Kid yourself all you want but we dont have enough upfront.

Would be fantastic, but the chances of it happening are next to zero I would think.

He’s just signed a new deal at Arsenal and played last night.

Danny Rose released by Watford, whatever happened to him?? An absolute star just a few years ago, would have loved to see him here. Seems like Covid absolutely ruined his career, so sad.

People thinking we don’t need a striker are seemingly missing the very obvious point that we’ve just sold our leading scorer. You could argue we didn’t need to panic re: getting someone in whilst Maupay was here, but it’s nuts to go into the season with just Welbeck.

One of your poorer fishing trips. The guy has publicly said that he can't wait to retire from football
