Great fans they have at Tranmere, glassed a Leeds fan just for sitting in their end supporting his team causing no problems all because they didn't give a big enough allocation.

No problems in the pub by the ground or in the home end last time I sent ...all about common sense ...wind people up and they will react

Way out west
I had planned to go to this one but it depends on the weather, I have an invite to a BBQ on Saturday, if the weather is really good then an afternoon sat filling my face with cremated lamb chops will probably win over spending it on the M5/6 and watching the Albion.

If you stay in the Travelinn in the Albert Dock you can get all the Beatles music you want. Something really annoying being woken up by endless Beatles tracks from the Beatle Experience.

Anyway a few of us going, found some half decent pubs in Liverpool when we went up there at Easter.

If you're planning on going to the Matthew Street Festival, you should be aware it has been cancelled.

All the outdoor stages / venues are not happening, and there will be no outside bars or drinking allowed. This is due to the road works and building work which is happening in the city centre at the moment.

I think there will still be some bands on, but they will only be on in indoor venues.

How far from station is Prenton Park?

If you get the train to Lime Street, you then need to get Merseyrail to Birkenhead Central, trains run every 15 minutes, you need to get on a train for Ellesmere Port or Chester on the Wirral Line. It's 4 stops and takes about 10 minutes.

It's then a ten minute walk, straight along Borough Road to Prenton Park.
