I'll be watching this. Haven't actually seen Norwich play other than the home game this season, so interested to see just how good they are.
If Tranmere play like they did against us I expect they'll get thumped. However they seem to have a nack of picking up the odd surprise result (ie. Southampton not long ago).
I have a Norwich supporting housemate so I am hoping to send him several mocking texts later if they end up losing. Still haven't forgiven him for covering the house in "Norwich 2 Brighton 1" posters for me to discover when I got home after the game in Feb.
What he said. Every time you think you've seen the worst piece of refereeing in recent times, somebody comes along and 'betters' it. What the f*** is the point of having a ref and a linesman looking at the same incident, where every single player, and all the fans, see a blatant handball, if they're going to fail to see something every other person in the stadium had seen? It beggars belief, that call. If a player doesn't perform, he loses his place, perhaps is released. A manager loses his job. Where is the accountability of the officials for such utter ineptitude?
The worst thing is, if Lambert complains about it too strongly, he'll get punished when it's the ref and lino who should be being suspended - from ALL football, not just bumped down to inflict their incompetence on a lower league - and forced to undergo a retesting of their abilities by the the FA.
