To some extent yes they are crazy odds in a 3 horse race, however if you look at the facts we are only one of 2 sides in the English Football League unbeaten at home this season. (along with Man Utd)
Also both Tranmere's 1st choice centre halves are doubtful and their most explosive talent Jennings is injured so I would expect at least 8/1
8/1 on the win is crazy - even more ridiculous though is the 25/1 currently available on Betfair for them winning 1-0. If they did happen to sneak the win, it would surely only be by the one goal.
If I were the kind of man to take value bets against his own team then I'd be all over that - but I'm not so I won't...
