So after all that palava, we were back at the station at 10.10, only to find out the 10.15 to Littlehampton was delayed and you'd miss any connections to get further East than Littlehampton, and the 10.30 had 8 coaches and wasn't even that busy anyway :lolol:

Well done for Southern though for putting on additional stops (Durrington, Lancing) as the Littlehampton train was late

You should have been on the 10:30 to Waterloo-on time until we reached Basingstoke. Somebody decided to jump in front of the train in front of ours. I got home to Guildford at 3:30 this morning. Took the police more than 3 hours to 'clean up the debris' as it was announced to us.

I was slightly annoyed that the Littlehampton train was delayed as that meant I missed a connection at Havant that would have taken me direct to Angmering...Especially as the 'special train' did not stop at Angmering for some reason but stop at Durrington and Lancing!! So, I had to make do with staying on the train all the way to Littlehampton and get a taxi from there.

People who commit suicide in front of trains really piss me off. They cause a terrible number of train drivers to take time off or even jack in the job completely. And all the mess...why can't they top themselves in an environmentally-friendly, non anti-social way? Or just phone the Samaritans???

On was on that train too.

Didn't appreciate being put on the slow train back to Clapham Junction.

Luckily, got to Clapham Junction where there was a train waiting to get us back to Three Bridges, for 0400!

Yes, that was fun. Finally get home to Petts Wood, near Bromley, at 3.30am after a lovely diversion to London Paddington via Reading and two night buses, the second of which had no heating and took about an hour.

Lol That was me who lived in Mile Oak. That guy was so funny who wanted to stop at Goring. "Why dont you just stop the train at Goring" he shouted to the guard. Cos we're not scheduled to stop there sir. "Will Southern pay for my taxi home" doubt it sir. "Its 3 bloody miles i'll have to walk home" sorry sir there is nothing i can do.

Dont know why they wouldnt give me a horse and carridge home, bloody southern!!!!!!!
