Absolutely Superb.
Just as a comparison. 2 Weeks ago I left Gills bang on final whistle and got into Shoreham at 2330.
Today I clapped every player off the pitch. Went and had a wee as thought would be waiting hours for a train and had a slow walk to the station.
I left the East stand at 2225. I was ON a train and 2235, in Brighton by 2245 and on the train to Shoreham (with a seat) that left at 2354.
There were extra trains from Falmer and they were 8 car ones. Could not ask for more - except......
Why the freaking heck were there annoucements that basically said, if you don't leave now, you won't get home? Loads left and missed one of the best climaxes to a game in years. Bad bad from the club.
Big tip: if you are travelling West on the train from BTN, make sure you are at the front of the train at Falmer - only chance to ensure you can actually get on the next train to leave BTN.
Big conufssed as to why I'm home already - but delighted I am.
