The club's travel information for tomorrow once again does not say "full matchday service" for the trains but instead says "please check Southern Rail website".

From the planner it looks like four trains per hour rather than the five or six in a full service with the last train for the match leaving at 14.41 from Brighton. Trains to Brighton after the game will NOT stop at Moulscoomb or London Road.

This has been a public (train) service announcement.

Cue hilarious passive aggressive post from @Beach Hut stating that the app will never be updated on a strike day

its now a given that the trains to get to the game are not at all reliable so its all ok as long as you factor in a couple of hours to allow for their f k ups. Take some cans for the travel is always a good option

Oh well. Looks like another chunk of my evening spent hanging around in a non-moving post match queue at Falmer.

Joy.

Reckon the trains will have geared-up to a post-strike-day level by lunchtime tomorrow. So checking the National Rail website in the morning would indeed seem to be a sensible thing to do

That bit in bold has been complete bolleaux since forever on the club emails. Trains DO stop at Moulscoomb and London Road, exactly as per timetable, after a match

I thought it was going to be in a similar vein to a ‘free beer tomorrow’ thread

Another post from Guiness Boy about trains! Full matchday service if you check Real Time Trains, day after a strike though, so there could be some knock on problems. There will only be 4 cars on the West Coastway, catch the London Service and change at Hove. There are also, like there are every week 6 trains per hour.

For Clarity here they are

The Hove/Brighton shuttle will be running?

It happened once and control put them in on the day, someone obviously has told them that SOME trains will not stop at those two stops (the Q path Lewes Shuttles), but the rest do, and they’ve just forgot to update it.

Oooo that's got me wondering, what is the Q path when it's at home?

Had a look at that site realtimetrains.co.uk and although not the easiest to navigate does indeed seem to show a full matchday service (screenshots below). Is it just a case of that info not yet being uploaded into the National Rail site? Doubt many people other than train geeks are aware of the realtimetrains site. I certainly wasn't until about 20 minutes ago :moo:
