Going to be a bad day on the trains today, landslip in the Burgess Hill area will impact for the rest of the day, diversions via Lewes.
Hopefully platform staff will be briefed to ensure the trains from Falmer going towards Lewes are properly filled for a change, rather than leaving half empty like they usually doBut they’ve put on a load of long trains going through Falmer today apart from one four-carriage set on the Ore route.
It is if you have to sit on a Thameslink train for longer than 30 mins.2 Thameslink an hour are allowed through, not sure how long it will take, but doesn’t look catastrophic.
Thanks for this, was on my way to Victoria but changing direction now!2 Thameslink an hour are allowed through, not sure how long it will take, but doesn’t look catastrophic.
Besides they have all day Monday to sort it out as no trains !2 Thameslink an hour are allowed through, not sure how long it will take, but doesn’t look catastrophic.
What have they got against trays? It is if you have to sit on a Thameslink train for longer than 30 mins.
Numb bum time. Comfort of seats, (or lack of), when travelling long distance apart, l really do love the class 700 trains that operate Thameslink services, great people movers and a smooth ride.It is if you have to sit on a Thameslink train for longer than 30 mins.
You think they will find common sense all of a suddenHopefully platform staff will be briefed to ensure the trains from Falmer going towards Lewes are properly filled for a change, rather than leaving half empty like they usually do

Indeed, me thinks the poster was being mega optimistic. You think they will find common sense all of a sudden
They are meant for short journeys, not 1h+ distances. There are no passenger comforts at all, appalling trains. No arm rests, no trays, no padding.Numb bum time. Said it before but they’d be much better at clearing the Falmer queues than the 377/387s areNumb bum time. Comfort of seats, (or lack of), when travelling long distance apart, l really do love the class 700 trains that operate Thameslink services, great people movers and a smooth ride.
