Seems a right cock up to get back to London by rail about twice the time that it took when we came back from Bradford and Huddesfield. Anyone got any ideas?

GNER are terminating at Peterborough for a bus to Huntingdon, where you then have to wait for a First Capital Corrupt train to Kings Cross stopping at all little stations.

Dep Doncaster 17:54
Peterborough 18:50 / 19:05 Bus
Huntingdon 19:40 / 19:59
Kings Cross 21:02

Dep Doncaster 18:09
Peterborough 19:20 / 19:35 Bus
Huntingdon 20:10 / 20:34
Kings Cross 21:49

Plus Brighton to Preston Park is closed with Thameslinks (FCC)terminating at Haywards Heath for a Bus to Brighton.
Southern Railway has trains from Victoria to Brighton via Hove at 21:36; 22:06; 22:36; 23:06: 23:32 & 00:05 taking about 1h15m.

Could get the 17:42 or 17:48 from Doncaster to Sheffield for the 18:27 to St.Pancras arr 20:48. A bit better than GNER - Bus - FCC.

ALL OF WHICH ARE BETTER THAN PLANES.. i missed the last plane out of here yesterday. that would have got me to brize norton today and the a 3 hour drive at least to donny. would total about 27 hours. as long as there is no delays. absolutley gutted....
sorry im not gonna be there.
