"Visiting supporters may be required to remain in the concourse for safety purposes for approximately 25 minutes after the final whistle.

There will be a special train for visiting supporters, and those wishing to use this will be escorted to Falmer Station in good time. The service will call at Three Bridges, East Croydon, Selhurst, Clapham Junction and London Victoria."

Far, far more than they deserve.

Can’t wait for my clockwise detour from the west after the game to the coaches, unsure why this is needed if they are being held back for 25 mins

No neither do l. Complete with the long queues and free for all trying to get up the steps into the coach park.

With the current issues with covid, this is just madness if the experiences of past years are repeated with everyone trying to get to the coach park jammed together tighter than a tin of sardines due to having to use one very narrow path to access the stairs rather than being able to use the wider circular path.

If there is no desire to keep the Palace fans inside the ground, then why not let them out and hold them further away from the steps, so that while we need to go clockwise we can still just stroll up the stairs.

Well wouldn't it make far more sense to hold them INSIDE the ground? Let the majority of home fans disperse, then allow them out and escort them to the station.

It seems reasonably straightforward to me.

I remember being held back half an hour at Port5cumouthy many years ago it probably stopped a bloodbath for most yet Millwall in the cup straight out and chaos via the old market despite a police horseback escort. Keep Palace fans inside and entertain them with that video thats circulating on here. Simple. Its also not easy to know what queue you are entering as they'll be others moving in same or opposite direction depending where you exit for the trains.

Agree and gives time for home fans to exit in both directions.

Have seen a few flare ups at the steps (Newcastle, Leeds and Wolves) recently so would make sense to let home fans disperse.

Bizarrely the club have emailed me today reminding me that I can upgrade my under 10 sons ticket for an adult. Junior is very much coming on Friday and can’t wait

Do what they did to us (the majority anyway) after the 0-5 debacle - keep them back for an age, then the slowest of slow walks back to a station that we didn't want to go to

Sneaking into a palace queue .....

About the same Level of appeal as bedding Gemma Collins .....

Gemma Collins is a terminally stupid, hideous, obnoxious waste of oxygen with absolutely no redeeming features … so she wins hands down each time rather than a train full of palace.
