If you look at the second last picture -

They are wearing the wrong socks. Yet no-one else is, in any of the other pictures.

Any ideas as to why this might be?

I'm guessing it's some "special" training exercise, such as they are both on the team wearing the colour of their socks, and it's to teach players to know their team mates by sock colour alone! But really, I have no idea.

(On a separate note, check MT not wearing shin pads. Flair.)

I just assumed that they had been told to swap shirts and shorts to even out teams or because the management wanted to try a couple of different senarios.

They must've just switched a few players around on each team, trying different things. Easier to change just shorts n shirt, and leave the socks, as theyd have to take off their boots too. I suppose.

Ah, yes, you're probably right. Although I prefer my idea, rather than a "costume change".

Mr Barnes has very camp wrists doesn't he. In every picture I've seen they seem a bit, well, floppy.

In one picture Greer is playing in the away strip and another in the home so they were obviously being swapped around.
