Been looking at some of the Flux Weave designs. Missed out on a really nice all grey/silver pair on eBay that went for £44. [emoji35]
The white and grey ones are very nice.125 notes on a pair of Hugo boss greens last year

Today, I have learnt that trainers are called "Creps" by young people.
Buzzer and his Onitsuka Tigers will have a lot to add to this thread.
I'm currently at a modest 8 pairs for causal wear (and 3 additional pairs for actually running in). Most are Adidas shell toes of one variation or another, but I have a couple of pairs of New Balance too - a classic pair of 540s and a more modern style I bought to schlep around the Orlando theme parks in.
Funds permitting, I could go out now and spend thousands on trainers very easily.
I like these. Do they make them in size 13?
Get off the thread, you're barred. [emoji6]I hope you're joking about that being modest. I have one pair of the aforementioned £4 trainers which I use for work and leisure!
I do also have a pair of North Face goretex walking shoes for wet weather use.
That's more like it.Trainers, you say?
Asics Onitsuka all the way. They are perfect in every way. I've 2 more baskets, just like this filled with Onitsukas
but I also have another basket for other trainers

Well done. Your medal is in the post. The expression "More Money Than Sense" springs to mind.
I have one pair of ordinary trainers (Asics from an outlet place in Bridgend last wekend), which I use for...... training - i.e. going to the gym.
And one pair of walking trainers, which I use for, believe it or not, walking.
If I wore trainers all the time, I would probably have terminal athlete's foot..... but I wouldn't want to, anyway.
