If anybody knows a way round the system other than booking in advance (as i obviously can't do now) to get cheapish (under £40) for Saturday please let me know. I'm desperate to cheer on the Albion, i just can't afford it

megabus.com has London-Huddersfield for £9, leaves at 8.15 gets in at 12.30. Good luck, I'll buy you a pint if you're skint.

Ok, its not under £40, but for £50 + £7 + £15, im going 1st class on Virgin.

Here I get all the free booze I can drink too, so i will prob end up paying a fiver for my train fare!

Virgin do not do the trolley and free booze in the 1st class at weekends..........

Unfortunately not - you will get a tea/coffee trolley with biscuits coming through but that's it.

BUT you will have access to the 1st class lounge at both Euston & Piccadilly where you can fill your boots so to speak.............
