Yes, and yes. According to Southern Rail site service will be ‘normal’ lolol apart from congestion in London where other rail companies on strike operate and their passengers transferring to Southern trains.

I am of course holding my breath on this one as I’m heading from Southampton to Brighton on the Southern Intercontinental Bullet train for the Espanyol game.
