Traffic question

I'm going to my first evening match at the Amex tomorrow and have a question on traffic. I drive in from the Lewes direction and park in the Universtiy car park. On a Saturday I can drive pretty much straight in without hold ups. Is the traffic worse on a weekday evening and if so how much time should I allow?

(Sorry, will try and make my next post a bit more interesting)

About the same I'd say. I tend to leave Uckfield about 6pm for evening games, am usually seated with pie at about 7, parking at Mithras House.

The route from Lewes is usually pretty clear, it's approaching from the west that seems to be far worse. The only time I've ever been held up was when there was an accident on the a27 and the road was closed. I drive from Eastbourne.

(That's excepting the Hull fa cup game where the club's poor organisation caused massive delays once at the car park)

Why not park in Lewes and hop on a train? It can be quicker with free travel.
