Looking at this season coming, I really do think it'll be the toughest and closest season yet. It really does look strong.

Promotion contenders - Wolves, Blackburn, Bolton, Blackpool, Leicester, Hull, Birmingham, Cardiff, Burnley, Middlesborough and maybe us.

Teams you won't expect to do as well as you thought- Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton, Huddersfield, Millwall, Watford and Nottingham Forest.

I don't know about anyone else but I reckon it'll be hard for us.

I disagree. Charlton, Forest and Sheff Wed aren't teams that I don't expect to do as well as I thought.

I fancy Wednesday for promotion TBH.

I get the feeling we won't sign any quality players as the wage demands are to high, guess we'll have to tolerate shite like painter and dicker etc for another year.Just doesn't seem right having 25,000 people in a splendid stadium and having average league 1 players in the starting lineup mmmm.

Do you honestly believe Dicker and Painter are average div 1 players? Did you think they were average when we won that league?

If players are asking for too much money then so be it we will have to cope with those we can affors. However it is pure speculation that we cant afford to pay decent players and I am certain we will see some quality signings.

Yes they was average and both are no more than average league 1 players, both are well out of their depth in this league. If you think they are championship players then you will be proved wrong again next season i can assure you.

There won't be 25000 if we're not doing well, the fair weathers will be off as quickly as they jumped on the bandwagon

I didnt say they are championship players but Painter was easily one of the best left backs in Div 1 and Dicker was also a class act when we got promoted. Anybody who actually watched us then would agree with that. I think both when properly fit are decent squad players for now.
