Didn't expect to come away with anything so can't say I'm too disappointed.

Pervis sounds like he had a mare which is a bit of a concern.
Yeah not sure whether the brown envelope went to the officials or Pervis for this one.
Ridiculous amount of turnovers coming from him in the first hallf.

JP bailed him out about 3 times

From the stands it felt like grabbing a point would have been a bit of a steal imo, but still gutted we didn't hang on.
Felt we had weathered the storm in truth and were looking the more likely.

horrible sucker-punch from a seemingly bizarre offside decision.
Has anyone confirmed whether it was a fair call?

Warren and Jonny initially thought it was tight but saw the replay and agreed with the officials. Earlier in the game Warren was screaming blue murder about a definite red card for a Spurs player but saw the replay and apologised to listeners that he had got it wrong.

He didn't have a mare, and so this is not a concern.

Lamptey, Dunk and Van Hecke were exceptional defensively, so Estupinan was probably the weakest link in that respect, but he was fine. Did a lot of useful moves.
Only going by what I heard on the radio

Many misplaced passes. it's not a big deal, just a bit unusual for such a solid player

We just weren't good enough at the end of the day. Back to reality after last week
Did you shit yourself before THIS game too?

Game management in the last minutes of a game has always been a thing under RDZ and always will be.

Pervis Estupinan drop off from pre-injury to post-injury is a worry. Played like Kerry Mayo today.
He really really didn't. I don't know where this narrative has come from. He misplaced a few passes and made the odd mistake but was involved in everything and bombed forward a lot. Not his greatest game but I'm surprised to come on here after the game and find he's today's scapegoat.

Honestly, that feels a bit harsh to me. I just think we have a largely very young squad, being coached by a coach whose attitude is pretty much “we’ll score one more than you.”

I’m a massive fan of RDZ’s style and coaching, but I do feel he’ll eventually see the benefits of pragmatism in the Premier League, and gently tweak how he coaches.

FWIW I love the players out there fighting today, and when you get hit with a sucker punch like that, all you can do is get up, take a deep breath, and go again. On to Sheffield Utd.
He's a Palace troll. Don't feed him.

First half was truly awful.
Second half much better

Gutted by the result but was a decent performance today and a great game to watch. Did well first half hour then Spurs dominated the middle section of the game. My main disappointment was coming out in the second half so poorly after the coaches could see it going wrong before half time. We just sleepwalked to that equaliser.

After that I thought the Spurs subs disrupted their flow and we got back on top again. Honestly huge match turning moment that Fati miss, that was when our fate was sealed.

All the guys had solid 7 out of 10s today but Steele and Gross outstanding. Only two under par were Facu who had one of his quiet games (so tough for him out of position) and Estupian had a mare, passing to white shirts in first half and then roasted out wide for pace in the second.

Shout out to Baker-Boaity who I thought looked really lively at the end, honestly we would have done better picking him than Facu out of position

How can it be Europe ? We’ve not had a game for ages.

The bigger concern is lack of goals. Only had 1 game in the last 5 where we’ve scored from open play. Worse than Potter - only masked by a heavy Palace win
Exactly. Using the Europe card is a cop out

The most astonishing stat from the match is that Romero didn't pick up a yellow card despite hacking Gross down in full view of the ref and then assaulting him off the ball. I think VAR looked at the off-the-ball assault in consideration of a straight red.
The ref was a bottler and a homer of epic proportions.
Lallana, at least for the two in quick succession first half.

His passing was atrocious. He was too tight to his man. He got outpaced. He was caught out of position. He was really poor.
