Nope: last season it was largely Sanchez in goal; Mateju at right-back; Dallison plus A.N.Other in the centre with George Cox at left-back.

This season the whole unit has changed, for one reason or another.

Suggests that it is the system/style of play, as much as the individual players. Plus, it isn't just the defence themselves, of course; credit would have to go to the front 6 as well.

Do you know whether all the academy age groups play the same system and style? Wondering if it’s a matter of really good coaching across all the age groups at 1 system meaning anyone can step up and know the role they would be expected to play

Not really.

Liverpool and Spurs are below the Albion.
Arsenal are only 1 point above.
Arsenal & Spurs have both already lost a game.

It would be more accurate to say:-

City next? First real test of the season.
