Walsall played the same as last year when we were at bescott, used the pace of Nichols who attacked livermoore who looked like he was either pissed or numbed his head on the bus! All three goals came down that channel. Also to be fair el abd was horribly exposed by giving the roll of marking the six foot four forward, elphick really should have started. We were second to every ball, owosu is a skinny Trevor Benjamin, can't control a header or the ball, we so badly need Murray back

Just got back, disgusted with the performace, livermore and cox were a disgrace, anderson never controlled his area, it's ok having murray back only if we can supply him the ball.
We are going down with a wimper on this performance

It seems, with all the false dawns and corners turned this season, the plain fact is that a fair number of players at the club are not 'professional' footballers.

To be so inconsistant, to be able to play when it suits and hide when the going get;s tough is no way to be. Players of limited skill but try like mad andknow the basics of team work will stand a chance but we seem to have to many who are not willing to work for the team, the fans or the club. Ultimiatly, some our so thick that they cannot even play for themselves because some will lose out in the cutthroat world of football. If your level is only Div 2 then don't kid yourselves that some big club will save your career.

There has to be a big clear out at the end of the season and, sadly, few who go will be remembered for their efforts when the chips were down.

Out of curiosity why are people now not blaming the manager? We've played four and lost three under him, two of those quite heavy defeats. Why all of a sudden are people now thinking the players should take a lot of the blame. Strange.

It's not Slade's fault he has inherited a team mainly consisting of turd. Now if he had a full pre-season, time to build his squad etc, THEN I would be questionning his results as manager.

Out of curiosity it could have something to do with the last one getting us in the position with the current squad in the first place. Strange.

He's inheritated a weak, leaderless side with no vision, no passion and no idea. Its probably been left too late for this season to be turned around. It was really quite shocking tonight.

I'm sorry, but slade's record is played 2, won 1, lost 1, for 5 against 3, if you think the orient game counted then you're definitely a joker. I reckon sladebwill give them a rollicking and they'll win on sat and I for one will be there to see it.

Thats my only concern about Slade. I would of hoped he would of instilled at least a bit of passion in the side. Tonight was dreadfull

I seem to remember us playing Southend at home fairly recently, but perhaps I'm mistaken. :dunce:
