MOH will be pleased to note Total Film have voted Hitchcock the greatest ever director, The beard came a very respectable 3rd. I am giving you the opportunity to vote on their top 20 for NSC to decide. No doubt this will cause great rancour but hey, its Friday, the suns out and the weekend looks fine.

Who is the best and why in your opinion ?.

Rubbish list!!! No Bergman, no Truffaut, no Fellini, no Preston Sturges

Just goes to show how brainwashed we become by Hollywood.

With the two Terminator films, Aliens, Titanic and The Abyss, Cameron proved himself to be the one of the most technically accomplished directors of all time. His films regularly raised the bar and set new standards for groundbreaking visual effects that are still being copied to this day. For him to be nowhere near the top 20 even is a DISGRACE and an AFFRONT.

Whoever put that list together is a CACKBADGER. They must have asked the question funny, or something.

Total Film is a real pile of shite trying to cater for a mass market audience. they have no editorial integrity at all and would probably sell their familys for a few extra sales.
